I am pleased to announce that Cincinnati Fire Fighters Union Local 48, in partnership with TriHealth, DOCS Dermatology, Lucid Diagnostics, and GRAIL, is hosting a low-cost/no-cost cancer screening event at our Union hall (1011 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45203). This event will take place over one day, January 24th, from 0700 to 1500, offering retirees the opportunity to receive essential screenings conveniently and affordably.
 
Screenings Available:
  • Galleri Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test: This test screens for over 50 types of cancer (GRAIL).
  • ESOGuard Early Detection Test: Screens for esophageal cancer (Lucid Diagnostics).
  • Skin Cancer Screenings: Provided by DOCS Dermatology.
 
Event Details:
  • Location: Union Hall - 1011 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45203
  • Dates: January 24th 0700-1500
  • Appointments: Scheduled in 15-minute intervals. Please sign up using the link below.
  • Preparation for ESOGuard: Refrain from eating or drinking 2 hours before your scheduled time.
  • Notes: The Galleri test is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, under 21, or actively undergoing cancer treatment.
 
What to Bring:
  • Driver’s license
  • Medical insurance card
  • Electronic payment method (credit or HSA/FSA card)

Cost:
  • Galleri Test: $699 (HSA/FSA eligible)
  • ESOGuard and Skin Cancer Screenings: No out-of-pocket cost to members.
